Herringston Dairy House

Herringston Dairy House is one of the most easterly dwellings within the parish, sitting alone just to north of the lane which connects Herringston and Came. It stands just above the height of the Winterborne stream and faces south, overlooking the site of Winterborne Farringdon village. It is one of the few dwellings to a) be specifically identified in census returns and church registers or b) have residents who are readily identifiable by their occupation (in this case, dairymen).
