Sarah Galpin, Elizabeth Galpin & Charles Hyde left school as they are shortly going from the village. Miss Adams visited school Friday.

Mark Park absent on account of injuries accidentally inflicted by Frederick Downton.

Annie Gilbert absent from sickness.

Three Gilberts left school as they are going from Came. Frederick Downton & Alfred Tomkins left school to go to work. Tom Corbin left for a time to go bird-keeping. Non-attendance Thursday on account of wet weather. Miss Adams visited school Thursday.

Mark Park & Ellen Hyde left school as they are also going to leave the village. Admitted one new scholar (Infant). Miss Adams visited school Tuesday.

Admitted two new scholars (one second standard & one infant). Miss Adams & Mrs Provost visited school Tuesday.

We commence school on Tuesday after Christmas holiday. 14 present. Edward Warr away all the week. The Pupil teacher left of Dec. 20th. There are at present only two infants, so that we can manage for a time without a teacher. Average for week 14.2. Number on books 16

Jan 18th

Very fine week. No visitors. Average 15.8

Jan 25th

Very rough weather this week has pulled the attendance down.

On Tuesday only 10 were present and this morning 8. The children are practising for a concert which is to be held on Feb 8th weather permitting. Average for week 13.4.

Feb 1st

The paper work on Monday was much better than last week. Thomas Pursey is still very backward at spelling.

Average for week 16 100%. We have a great deal of trouble in getting the fire lighted in the morning. One of the boys do it and as he lives nearly three miles away, he does not arrive very early.

Feb 5th

The children are giving a concert this evening so that we commenced school early and closed at 3.

We are unable to have a holiday as we have already exceeded the number.

The attendance is very good considering the cold weather and the distance the children live from the school.

Mr Passmore called on Monday.

Olive Wallis away on account of the weather. Average for the week 14.6.

Mr Passmore called on Monday and has given permission for a holiday on Thursday. Horace Pope away ill also Wilfred Drake.
